What are the applications of derivatives in the development of bio-based materials and biodegradable textiles for sustainable fashion design? We have extensively used a number of approaches to develop novel compounds that can be implemented to grow cell constructs such as 3-carbon batteries and bio-fabrics. A number of methods have been employed to experimentally examine bio-fabrication processes to realize solid-state transformations (or transformation by derivatives to produce the desired final structures) as well as effects of different steps (from carbonization to nanoparticle-enhanced transformation) on existing transformations.
