Abstract: This essay is dedicated to evaluating the potential of the new understanding of linear wave transport in nonlinear wave transport models. Answering the most basic questions about linear waves by perturbing anisotropic and non-linear wave response in kinetic theory will describe the future work of these models. First, we will provide a review of the field of linear waves by employing the Euler equation to analyze critical phenomena (kinetics of the pressure microport), and a proof of linear wave propagation from this equation.
