Basically there are two types of these calculators. One is the mechanical one and the other is the electronic one. As the name suggests, the mechanical calculator works with the help of physical mass and force. As far as the electronic type goes, it uses electric energy to do the calculations. Before answering this question you must make sure that you are well prepared for it. You can do this by first knowing how the capacitor works.

The answer to this question will depend on how you interpret the law of conservation of energy. Let us just say that the capacitor has two charges, one negative and one positive. The question then becomes, how much power does it need to run at its maximum load level. Assume that the power rating of the device is four, then the capacitor must be able to maintain its state until the device is switched off.

In other words, one must answer this question to arrive at the value of the capacitor. To arrive at such an answer, one must refer to some other Calculus examples.

There are many such questions that can be asked in Calculus examples. However, one should not get confused when asked to choose between introductory and advanced calculus courses. It will not make any difference to you whether you choose the first or the third type of course. The topics that you will learn in either type of Calculus will help you master this subject very well. So, if you want to get into Electrical Engineering, you must have a working knowledge of capacitors.
