When you go to take the exam, you’ll have probably received some practice questions and even gotten some hints from your teacher. For the most part, you should be able to get most of the information you need on the test from the directions given. As long as you are honest with yourself, you shouldn’t have to worry about anything. It’s pretty straight forward. However, there are cases where you might need to reset the level or something so you should always review your answers before you submit them.

If you don’t have a calculator handy or one that you can afford to use during the exam (so it won’t slow you down too much), then you can use your computer. You will be able to find a free calculator that works just like the ones you can buy in bookstores. You can use this to test yourself on some difficult topics and you can save yourself a lot of money by getting everything you need online.
If you have never taken a Calculus exam before, then you can purchase a practice exam and then use that on the live exam. This will help you prepare for the problems you will face while taking the real test. However, don’t try to use the practice exam to get a perfect score. It will just confuse you even more and you will probably end up guessing and making mistakes on the real exam.
You will also want to make sure that you know how to pace yourself on the test. If you have prepared and learned all of the answers, but you get very frustrated because you haven’t got all of the questions right, then you will burn out quickly. Pace yourself so that you can move along at a steady pace instead of trying to do too many things at the same time. This will also help you with the time problem you will encounter on the test.
Finally, be sure to study for every area of the test as well. There are going to be multiple questions in each section, so make sure you cover everything. Practice each area a few times until you get a correct answer, and then spend the rest of your time putting together correct answers for the questions you still haven’t learned. This will take some time, but you will be amazed at how fast you can move if you do things correctly from the start.
